How long can I buy tickets?Listenelement 2As long as we have tickets available, you can purchase them in advance. If tickets are still available, you can also buy them directly at the box office on site. We will close the online shop on the Sunday before the festival. The number of participants in the workshops is limited, but the wool market has plenty of space. However, like any building, we also have a maximum capacity limit determined by fire safety regulations.

How can I pay for the tickets?Listenelement 3Our preferred and easiest payment method is PayPal. PayPal accepts a wide variety of payment options. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay for workshop tickets in advance via bank transfer. Simply send us an email to arrange this. You will automatically receive the invoice and ticket confirmation by email.

Can I buy more than one ticket?Listenelement 4You can buy as many tickets as you like. However, with your confirmation, you will immediately receive all these tickets and the corresponding wristbands, and you will be responsible for their correct distribution to your fellow visitors.

Are the tickets transferable?Workshop tickets are transferable only in exceptional cases and with the organizer's consent. It's best if you find someone who might want your ticket yourself. Otherwise, we can check if there's anyone on the waiting list for that course. Due to the expected volume, we cannot transfer wool market tickets. Event tickets are non-refundable.

What is a wool market ticket?The ticket for the yarn market grants you access to the Munich Knits Festival's yarn market, featuring numerous international and national exhibitors selling a wide variety of wool and knitting yarns, knitting accessories, patterns, and books. You'll also have access to the entertainment area with talks and interactive activities, the lounge and cafeteria, the chance to meet your favorite designer at a meet & greet, or simply to sit and knit with friends.

Do I need a wool market ticket if I have booked a workshop?Your workshop ticket grants you access to the wool market for the entire weekend. This means that if you've booked a workshop on Sunday morning, you can visit the wool market on Saturday. If you'd like to book more than one workshop, take a look at our VIP tickets, where wool market entry is included from the second workshop onwards.

What do I do if my desired workshop is sold out?If the workshop you'd like to book is no longer available, please send us an email and we'll add you to the waiting list. Sometimes a participant can't make it, and you could take their place. To ensure this goes smoothly, please include the name of the workshop you'd like to attend in the subject line of your email.

Can I bring my child?Of course you can bring your child(ren). Admission is free for children up to 12 years old; for children aged 13-18 we charge 50% at the ticket office.

How do I get the exclusive Munich Knits 2024 design?On your invoice/ticket, you will find the web address and password for downloading the knitting pattern for the exclusive 2026 design, located above the barcode. Please note that this knitting pattern is only intended for participants of Munich Knits 2026.

Is the building accessible for people with disabilities?Yes, MTC House 1 is wheelchair accessible. A ramp leads from the parking lot to the ground floor. From there, an elevator takes you to the first floor (floor 1) for the wool market and lounge, and to the second floor (floor 2) for the classrooms. If you are using a wheelchair, you can bring one person with you free of charge for assistance.
